Laresa is a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist, trained at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT), where she was honoured with the Heart Award for her unconditional positive regard and commitment to excellence in massage therapy. Her treatments are rooted in a holistic approach that addresses both specific concerns and the body as a whole. She uses a personalized blend of techniques including Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Mobilizations, and Active/Passive Stretching.
Laresa supports clients in taking an active role in their healing by offering customized plans involving stretching, strengthening, hydrotherapy, and lifestyle adjustments. She has experience working with a wide range of conditions including postural strain, stress, headaches, sports injuries, frozen shoulder, and pre/postnatal issues.
In addition to her hands-on experience, Laresa is currently enrolled in a 2.5-year advanced program in Biodynamic Fascial Integration. This approach emphasizes subtle, whole-body listening and therapeutic engagement with the fascial system, helping to restore balance and ease through deep, non-invasive techniques. It incorporates craniosacral principles, somatic awareness, and the body’s innate capacity for healing, further deepening Laresa’s ability to support clients through complex or chronic issues.
Her continuing education also includes specialized training in Massage Therapy for the Childbearing Years, with courses in pregnancy, infant massage, and post-cesarean section care.
